Edward Connelly acts as an advisor and Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) to companies who need a part time controller. We also
provide accounting and control services for businesses that need to comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) overhead reports. Ed has
assisted in the preparation of Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) funding requests and reviewed SBIR requests
for funding, most recently with the National Science Foundation (NSF). In addition Ed has helped prepare applications for SBIR
funding Phase I, II and III. The current limit for SBIR Phase II funding
was recently increased to $750,000.
A recent engagement included a seven year summary report
to the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) for the DOC Manufacturing Assistance Program (MEP) program run by
the Massachusetts Department of Economic Development (DED). The MEP
program is a national program to help the small and medium sized manufacturing business develop or acquire the resources
to compete in the global economy.
